The company has an established Community Liaison Group which will provide the main focus of information exchange between the company and the community. The Group comprises representatives from all the nearby parish councils, District Council and County Council members, and also invited residents closest to the site. Members of the group also include officer representatives from the various authorities including the Environment Agency, who are on hand to provide professional support to the group.
The CLG has an independent Chair and Clerk. It is chaired by a District Councillor and the secretarial support is provided by one of the Parish Council Clerks.
The CLG meets approximately every two months. The meetings are not open to the public but minutes of the proceedings will be published in 'Downloads'. In addition, we expect the local representaives to relate information back to their constituents.
